The President, Vice President and Prime Minister have checked on the heath of the governors of Taiz and Lahj who, in a car, narrowly escaped a fall from a steep road between their two provinces.
Taiz governor Nabeel Shamsan and Lahj governor Ahmed Torki were on a car inspecting rehabilitation works for parts of the steep road of Hayjat al-Abd, the only but dangerously steep highway connecting Taiz with Lahj and the temporary capital Aden to the south. The car veered off to the edge and stopped short of falling.
The statesmen phone calling them thanked them for their follow-up on the road maintenance works and wished them safety.
