Skills Development Fund signs youth treaty with Tamdeen Foundation

Skills Development Fund in Aden signed on Tuesday a treaty with Tamdeen Foundation on supporting jobless youth and providing requirements of the training program carried out by the fund.

The Executive Director of the Fund Abdullah Daghem told Saba that the treaty includes supporting youth participating in different vocational and technical specializations of the training program (the second phase) with skills provided by Tamdeen next August.

He pointed out that the first phase of the program targeted 960 male and female youth from Aden, noting that the fund seeks to expand its activities across the country.

For his part, the Head of TamdeenFoundation Hussein Moqbel said the corporation has integrative project aiming at tackling youth problems left by the war triggered by Houthi militia regarding providing work opportunities.

He pointed out the jobless people will trained on different specializations in technical and vocational institutes, confirming that the project targets in its first phase six provinces while the second phase targets all provinces.
