General Chief of Staff (Lt Gen) Abdullah Annakha'I met on Thursday with American Ambassador to Yemen ChristophereHenzel.
Yemeni-American cooperation in countering terrorism was key focus of Annakha'I's conversations with Henzel.
General Annakha'I voiced appreciation for the US administration's support for Yemeni coast guards and counter-terror forces.
The American Ambassador expressed pleasure for the session which came with the frame work of cooperation and coordination between the two friendly countries and militaries.
