Prime Minister DrMa'enn Abdulmalik praised the USA government's stance in support of the legitimate Yemeni government against Iran-allied Houthi militia's coup.
Speaking at press conference he held Thursday in the temporary capital Aden, Ma'een highly praised US support for Yemen in different fields including security, migration, passports and humanitarian aids.
Ma'een said that he discussed with American Ambassador to Yemen Christopher Henzel the underway efforts to encounter the Iranian spoiling role in Yemen—in particular—and in the region in general.
He noted that Iran employs its tools in Yemen the Houthi rebels to serve its agenda in a bid to turn Yemen into a launching pad to target the neighboring countries and international maritime navigation in the Red Sea.
