State Minister for Affairs of Implementing National Dialogue Conference (NDC) Outcomes Yaser Arroaini discussed Friday with Director of Middle East and North Africa Department and Director of Political Development Department at Finnish Foreign Ministry peace efforts in Yemen and implementing NDC's outcomes.
The two parties also discussed finalizing political transfer in Yemen and needs of human capacity building in democratic and good governance fields.
Arroaini pointed out that Iran-backed Houthi militia hindered political process in Yemen by its coup against the government and NDC's outcomes, calling international community to practice pressure on the militia to implement UN resolutions, notably resolution 2216
He also discussed with officials of democracy and law at the ministry of justice principles of transitional justice, the rule of law and capacity building of institutions specialized in federalism and those specialized in transparency and good governance.
For their part, the Finnish officials confirm providing different forms of possible support to Yemen's relevant institutions and renewed support of their country to peace efforts and implementing dialogue's outcomes.
