Yemen Moves to Establish National Maritime Security Committee

President Hadi presides over meeting of (NAPP)

President of Republic Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi presided over a meeting of the National Alliance of Political Parties (NAPP) with the presence of Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh, Prime Minister DrMa'een Abdulmalik and Foreign Minister Khaled Alyemany.

The session devoted to discuss the developments in national arena on the eve of the 29th anniversary of the National Day of Republic of Yemen May 22.

President Hadi said" The establishment of NAPP was very significant step and an event of paramount importance coincided with the convening of the Parliament's session in Sayoon".

The President added" It is vitally important that this political alliance must serve as an inclusive umbrella brings all political parties and constituencies together, membership shall be open for everybody to join, it must stick to national principles and common interests, in this case it will be an additional support for the legitimate government against the coup, and key instrument contributes to establishing the new federal state".

The Vice President provided a brief report about the ongoing combat operations in different fronts and flashpoints.

The Prime Minister reported about the government's efforts and actions over the past months.

For his part Foreign Minister reported briefly about diplomatic activity and communications with the International Community.
President of the NAPP Dr Rashad al-Alimi voiced the NAPP's thanks for President Hadi for his support to create the NAPP, promising to work together along with legitimate leadership for Yemen's national interest.
