Minister of Planning demands greater EU's role in Yemen

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation DrNajeeb al-Aweg called on the EU to have greeter interventions in Yemen to help speeding up reconstruction and development drive.
As he met Wednesday here with the EU's Ambassadors and Representatives to the United Nations, al-Aweg cited the government's efforts to reinvigorate the state's institutions and reinstate basic services.
The Minister touched upon the state's general budget of 2019 which approved recently by the Parliament; highlighting the need for foreign support to help financing the deficit of this budget.
Al-Aweg praised the EU's support for Yemen in different spheres, namely agriculture, fishery, youths and woman.
