The Secretary General of Mahra Local Council Salem Neimer discussed with Chinese and Malaysian investors investment opportunities in fishery field.

Neimer confirmed making use of local fishery production, which is produced daily in tons, and exporting it to outside the country via establishing specialized companies for canning and exporting fish to help increase local revenue.

He stressed combating illegal fishing and committing fishermen to fish in fishing seasons in accordance with the regulations made by the ministry of fishery wealth and general authority for fishing.

The secretary general took the investors to Nashtoon Port in a field visit to the port and some companies operating in fishery wealth for inspecting the nature of their activities and capacities and humanitarian expertise.
