Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani discussed Wednesday with French Ambassador to Yemen Christian Testo France's role on implementing UN Resolutions.
Al-Barakani stressed significance of France's responsibilities on pressuring Houthi rebel militia to implement UN Resolutions and Stockholm agreement on Hodeida.
He pointed out to preparations for Parliament delegation's visit to French National Assembly, renewing parliament's support to peace process on the bases of the three references; the GCC Initiative and its Executive Mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216 as foundations to any future political settlement.
For his part, French diplomat welcomed holding Parliament's sessions in Sayoon, Hadhramout Province and praised regaining legislative institution to play its role strengthening the legality.
He renewed his country's keenness on boosting mutual relations between Yemeni Parliament and French National Assembly.
