Parliament approves lasting convening

The Parliament has approved holding its sessions permanently and forming a fact-finding committee to study a report raised by the Central Bank of Yemen included a number of financial mistakes.

Presided over by Parliament Speaker Sultan al-Barakani on Monday, the Parliament recommended the government to implement the energy-generating project in Hadhramout by gas and stressed taking care of Sayoon and giving it priority of basic and development services.

The MPs discussed key issues like paying salaries of the national army regularly, irregular employment in diplomatic institution and other state institutions and restoring issuing passports from liberated provinces.

The parliament heard to a briefing on reasons behind failure of implementing Hodeida agreement over Houthi militia's stubbornness and their plots to hinder it.

The MPs called on the International Community to stand firm and put an end to Houthi militia's crimes against Yemeni people and labeling them as terrorist organization.
