President of the Leadership Council Departs Aden for Consultations on National Developments
His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, departed today, Friday, from the interim capital, Aden, heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hold consultations with regional and international actors regarding the latest developments in the local situation, particularly the recent events in the eastern governorates.

Flights from Aden to Socotra to be launched soon

Minister of Transport Saleh al-Jabwani discussed on Wednesday with Governor of Socotra Archipelago RamziMahrous a number of issues associated with transport corporation in the province and boosting their role.

The meeting, which included a representative of the Arabian Flex Aviation Company, tackled preparations for launching weekly flights from Aden Airport to Socotra Airport this April in addition to flights from Socotra and Sayoon ports for easing transport movement from and into the Island.

Al-Jabwani praised improving service sector to citizens in Socotra Island led by transport sector to link the island with other provinces.

For his part, Socotra Governor expressed his thanks to minister of transport for his active role for regaining transport institutions.
