RIYADH-SABA
Saudi Council of Ministers has renewed commitment on supporting political efforts led by the UN envoy to Yemen and the Head of Redeployment Commission in Hodeida.
In its meeting presided over by King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz on Tuesday, the council confirmed that Houthimilitia's continuous attempts of targeting civilians and civil establishments by their terrorist attacks in Hodeida- in the time the coalition is committed to ceasefire in Hodeida in implementation to Stockholm agreement- represents blackmailing attempt by the militia to the coalition's forces for launching reverse military operations in the province.
The Saudi Cabinet welcomed US Administration's decision of blacklisting Iran's Revolutionary Guard as terrorist organization and considered it a practical and serious step within efforts of fighting terrorism.
The decision also translates Kingdom's repeated demands to the international community for deterring Iran-backed terrorism and the necessity of taking serious action for facing the Revolutionary Guard's role of diminishing international security and peace, the council added.
