Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Minister of Fishery Wealth Fahd Kafayen discussed with the committee entrusted with following up Fishermen Support Project to fishers who are affected by the war triggered by Houthi militia in provinces of Mahra, Abyan, Socotra, Taiz and Shabwa.

The timetable program approved by President Hadi for distributing 500 boats to fishermen in five provinces has been tackled.

Kafayen made it clear that the ministry is working on finalizing distribution of the boats and motors to fishermen affected by nature disasters and war in these provinces with 100 boats to every province and other provinces will be included in second phase.

Kafayen confirmed readiness of his ministry of providing necessary support for making this project and other similar projects in fishery sector successful.
