ALJAWF-SABA
The Houthi militia have committed more than 5000 violations against women in Yemen's northern province of Aljawf over the years 2016-2018, the Ministry of Human Rights said.

In a press conference held today, a statement released by the ministry's office said the Houthi violations included 20 cases of murder, 83 cases of injury, deprivation of 50 girls from pursuing higher education in the provincial college and the traumatization of 40 other women as a result of various forms of abuse.

The statement said its observers also documented the internal displacement of 5000 women from the province.

The Director General of the office Abdulhadi al-Assar said the militia's violations affected all forms of life amidst international especially UN silence and failure to stop this rogue malaria from their brutalities.
