Crude oil prices fell in early Asian trading today, Tuesday, as investors' expectations of demand growth eased due to ongoing trade tensions between the United States and China.
Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad al-Hadhrami met the US Charge d'affaires in Yemen Junaid Munir here on Tuesday.
Al-Hadhrami praised the United States' support to Yemen's government and to conducting a political process in accordance with the agreed upon three terms of reference.
He stressed the importance exercising pressure on the Houthis by the international community especially the United Nations given that the rebel militia are the party preventing the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement.
He stressed the position of the Yemeni government on the importance of implementing the agreement before talking about any future negotiations or consultations.
He expressed Yemen's condemnation of the US administration's recognition of Israel's sovereignty over the Syrian Golan Heights that Syria had been occupying, stressing Yemen's firm rejection of that.
