Foreign Minister: Empowering State To Protect Its Sovereignty, Coasts Cornerstone For Bab al-Mandeb Security, International Navigation Safety
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba stated that the Yemeni state undertakes its constitutional and sovereign responsibility to protect its citizens, lands, coasts, ports and territorial waters, and that enabling its institutions to carry out this responsibility is a key element for the security of Bab al-Mandeb, the Red Sea and international navigation and trade.

International projects, Humanitarian Response Plan- 2019 discussed

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar ba-Suhaib discussed on Sunday with a number of regional directors and representatives of the international organizations working in Yemen mechanisms of implementing development projects and programs led by Humanitarian Response Plan-2019 in Yemen.

Ba-Suhaib discussed with the he Director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in the transitional capital Aden Andrea Reykjia continuous coordination between the ministry and OCHA and other international organizations for implementing the Humanitarian Response Plan on the bases of the initial needs to Yemen and alleviating suffering of the displaced people.

He also discussed with the Regional Director of Geneva Call Organization in Yemen Amal Loyen training and qualifying Yemeni cadre in fields of international law and human rights and discussed with Director of Labor Organization for Combating Hunger in Aden David Broska implementing a number of projects in humanitarian field.

Ba-Suhaib discussed also with the Director of Handicapped Organization implementing the second phase of the artificial limbs of war-affected people in Yemen.
