Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. NaserBa'om discussed on Monday with Egyptian Health Minister Dr. HalaZayed cooperation aspects between the two countries in medical field.
The meeting tackled activating memos of understanding agreed upon during President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi's visit to Egypt last August in medical and medication fields.
The two parties also discussed means of activating cooperation in field of training and qualifying Yemeni doctors and including them in Egyptian Fellowship Program, as well as making use of Egyptian expertise in improving health sector in Yemen.
Minister Ba'om valued Egyptian support to Yemen in current exceptional conditions, praising historical relations between the two countries.
For her part, the Egyptian health minister showed readiness for providing all possible facilitations, activating understandings and providing medical services to Yemeni patients in Egypt.
