The forcibly disappeared and detainees face death in the Houthi-run jails as a result of deliberate negligence of health services for them, a local human rights watchdog told a UN official in Geneva on Thursday.
A delegation from the Yemen Coalition for Monitoring Human Rights Violations told UN Human Rights Council rapporteur on arbitrary detention that the Houthis recruit child fighters and round up women who take out to the streets to demand the release of their relatives in jail.
