Nasher briefs Nicaraguan official on Yemen developments

Yemen's non-resident ambassador to Nicaragua Mohammed Saleh Nasher and the Nicaraguan Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Valdrack L. Jaentschke discussed a number of issues of common interest between the two countries.

In a meeting they held here today Nasher briefed the Nicaraguan official on the latest political developments in Yemen including the Houthi militia's foot-dragging approach in dishonoring of the Stockholm Agreement in Hodeidah, the prisoner exchange terms and the removal of the militia's siege on Taiz city.

The Nicaraguan official reiterated his country's permanent support to Yemen and its government, stressing the importance of pushing for the success of the Stockholm Agreement signed by the government and the militia on December 13.
