The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. The Japanese government has announced a new humanitarian aid pack for Yemen worth 32.8 million dollars to meet the demands of the Yemeni government and the urgent needs of Yemen to address the humanitarian crisis.

The assistance includes various projects to be offered in cooperation with international organizations and Japanese non-governmental organizations, including provision of emergency food through the WFP at a total of $ 18 million.
