Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Minister of Local Administration Abdulraqeeb Fatah has confirmed implementing projects to displaced people and capacity building of local authorities in provinces and districts.

In his meeting with Director of the High Commission of Refugees (UNHCR)Jacqueline Parlevliet on Monday, Fatah called the Commission to find coordination plan with the government for finding shelters to displaced people and providing physical and cash support to displaced and affected families.

For her part, the UN official welcomed finding coordination plan between the government and the commission for providing relief support and carrying out livelihood project.

The two parties also discussed 2019 plan and the projects accomplished in 2018.
