Finance Minister Salem Saleh bin Brik discussed today during his meeting in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the US Special Envoy to Yemen Tim Linderking, and the US Ambassador to Yemen Steven Fagin the developments in the economic and financial situation, regional and international efforts to achieve peace in Yemen, and aspects of strengthening cooperation relations.
A member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, chaired this morning at the Presidential Palace in Ma’ashiq an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers.
Government Committee on Hodeida discusses paying salaries of security affiliates
The Government Committee Entrusted with Following up Situations in Hodeida discussed on Monday plans provided by concerned authorities and recommended by ministries included in the committee for paying salaries of military and security affiliates.
The meeting, which was presided over by Governor of Hodeida al-Hassan Taher, who is the Chairman of the Committee, discussed requirements of security plans and establishing training camp for receiving human forces, establishing operation rooms and handing over liberated districts to security bodies.
The meeting also discussed former decisions and recommended establishing operational room to be linked with the ministry of interior, prequalifying health centers in liberated districts andrehabilitating al-Thawra Public Hospital, al-Ulofi Hospital and Salakhana hospital, as well as establishing makeshift hospital in safe area.
Governor Taher confirmed taking care of local administration institutions in different districts of Hodeida.
