The EU-funded Survey of City and Neighborhoods project in Yemen held a consultative meeting on Monday in the Jordanian capital Amman today.
The project, the implementation of which is overseen by UN HABITAT, aims to better identify beneficiaries, assess needs, link humanitarian and flexible interventions, improve urban monitoring, better coordination at the district and city level, and link satellite-based analysis with field verification.
In a speech delivered at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Public Works and Roads Eng. Mohammad Thabet thanked the EU for funding this important project.
