Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh held a session on Monday included commanders of Military Police branches in the governorates of Al-Jawf, Dhamar, Al-Baidha, Shabwah, Amran and Sa'adah.

The meeting intended to reactivate the role of local Military Police in the government-held governorates and regions.

The Military Police commanders reported to (Lt Gen) Mohsen about the progress realized so far in re-instating local Military Police and necessary action-plans to enable the Military Police doing its job effectively .

The Vice President stressed on the important role should be played by Military Police to address irregularities among armed forces and ensure military discipline and professionalism.
