The Government Committee on following up situations in Hodeida discussed on Monday process of normalizing conditions in the province.
The Head of the Committee, who is also the Governor of Hodeida Dr. al-Hassan Taher issued directives of quick preparations of plans on the most urgent needs in the province, especially ministry's offices, which have direct relations with the people interests and alleviating their suffering over the war triggered by Houthi militia.
He also directed continuous follow up to all needs of citizens in Hodeida and implementing the rest directives of President Hadi for paying salaries of employees in the province.
He stressed resuming the state's institutions and activating security apparatus for realizing stability admired by citizen.
For his part, the Director of the Technical Office for Consultations Engineer Mohammad al-Amrani pointed out that there is international determination to implement Stockholm agreement on Hodeida and making use of time for making studies in different fields for regaining the state's role.
The meeting dealt with operating the ports soon in the future, approving operational budgets, making emergency plans, means of providing relief and aid to displaced and affected people and taking care of health and education.
Office directors of health, planning, finance, relief and legal affairs and Command of the Red Sea Coast Guards reviewed plans and programs to be provided to the government and efforts for receiving the state institutions in the province.
