Joint technical meeting about prisoner-swap deal wraps its discussions

Joint technical meeting brought together UN, International Committee Red Crescent (ICRC), representatives of the Yemeni government and Houthi rebel militia concluded Friday its deliberations about unsettled issues relating to the lists of prisoners, detainees, abductees and enforced disappeared persons.

The Yemeni government delegation told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that updated clarifications requested by the UN envoy's office to Yemen were submitted.

The delegation added that a timetable was agreed to that January 20 set out a deadline to submit remarks about the clarifications presented by the two sides, and January 27 is a date to start submitting the answers about the observations raised by the two sides and January 30 is deadline. .
