DHALI'A-SABANET:
The governor of Dhali'a, Ali Muqbel Saleh, opened a meteorological station at the funding of the World Food Organization (FAO) in cooperation with the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authorityin the province on Sunday.
The governor expressed his appreciation to the engineering team who worked wholeheartedly to ensure the success of the USD 15,000 project and thanked all those who contributed to it and funded it.
The meteorological station operates with four main sensors used to measure weather elements; the speed and direction of wind, heat, soil moisture, air temperature, solar radiation, soil moisture, the amount of rain falling, climate change.
