VP, Taiz governor discuss developments in the governorate

Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh discussed Thursday with the newly appointed governor of Taiz Nabeel Shamsan the latest developments in the province, above all underway efforts to get the governorate cleared of Houthi militiamen.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen congratulated Shamsan for being entrusted by the political leadership and appointed governor of the province, noting that it is a challenging position requires doubling efforts to defend the interests of Taiz population and allay their suffering.

The Vice President urged aligning all political and social constituencies behind the political leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi to drive the remains of the militiamen out of Taiz and re-establish security and stability in the province.
