Prime Minister MaeenAbdulmalik, Information Minister Muammar Al-Eryani and the chief editors and chairmen of state-run media institutions have together discussed developing the performance ofofficial media and the relayed media message to the world.

In a meeting they held here on Wednesday, Abdulmalikstressed the government's interestin developing the state-run media to address the national issues and instill the humanitarian and patriotic values amongst the local audience.

He appreciated the struggle of the media to highlight the ongoing social, economic and military developments in the country despite the strain these journalists suffer in terms of resources.
