Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik chaired an expanded meeting of the leaders of the Ministry of Defense, in the interim capital Aden today, to discuss developments in the field and military situation in light of the continued military escalation by the terrorist Houthi militia, in a blatant challenge to regional, UN and international efforts to bring peace and resume the political solution.

Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh sent a cable of congratulation to His Royal Highness (HRH) Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the 4th Anniversary of the Allegiance Pledge.

The Vice President expressed thanks and appreciation for Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques and his Crown Prince for their historic supportive stances toward Yemen and their support for Yemeni people in military, development, political and economic fields.

He said" The fourth anniversary of allegiance pledge is considered to be an anniversary of four years of noble help and supportive stances from brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting the legality of Yemeni people in view of their current ordeal created by Iran-baked Houthi militia".

The Vice President stated that these brotherly noble stances the Yemeni people have been familiar with from their brothers in the Kingdom will go down deep in history and will always be appreciated and remembered by the Yemeni political leadership headed by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
