Minister of Finance, Governor of the Central Bank Discuss Comprehensive Reform Implementation with Arab Monetary Fund

Taiz courts to assume their full power

The courts of Taiz will assume their full power in carrying out the administration of justice in the province's capital.

In a meeting with Taiz Deputy Governor Abdul-Qawi al-Mekhlafi, the chief of the Appeal Court Ahmed al-Mahmoodi and other judicial figures discussed the tasks of the judiciary in light of the recent arrests of criminals and troublemakers in the city.

The chief of the Public Prosecution said the city's courts have a program in place to reinforce the power of law and expedite the sentencing of criminals.

Al-Mekhlafi ordered the military police to set a plan for security deployment around the courts so as to allow them to perform their duties.
