The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms the need to obtain prior authorization to enter Yemen's airspace The Civil Aviation and Met. Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

Yemen participates in Sustainable Blue Economy Conference in Nairobi

Yemen participated in the inauguration of the two-day Sustainable Blue Economy Conference in Nairobi in the Kenyan capital Nairobi on Monday.

Yemen's delegation to the event is headed by Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bajjash and Deputy Environment Minister Ammar Al Awlaki.

The conference will discuss the promotion of the concepts of development and promotion of economic development through the most appropriate exploitation of water resources and enhancing the contribution of maritime trade in supporting the prosperity of nations.

Yemen's speech in the event recounted the geo-strategic importance of Yemen, its impact on the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Yemeni government's keenness to cooperate with international institutions and investors from different countries in developing sustainable exploitation of ocean resources.

It also emphasized the threat posed by the Houthi coupist militia to global security, particularly to international shipping routes, by the attacks the militia launch against vessels and oil tankers and the landmines the militia plants in the sea.

He stressed that the protection of international trade routes off Yemene's coasts is the responsibility of the Yemeni government and the international community as a whole.
