Leadership Council discusses mechanisms for responding to repercussions of local, regional developments

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) held a meeting today, Thursday, chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Council and with the presence of its members Sultan al-Arada, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi and Othman Mujalli, while Saleh, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem al-Khanbashi contributed to the discussions via video call.

A meeting held Saturday in Al-Dale'a province included Governor Maj. General Ali Moqbel and joint committee from the UN High Commissionaire for Human Rights.

The session aimed to discuss topics pertaining to the situations of prisoners and detention centers' conditions with the aim of improving services and addressing complaints about.

Discussions touched upon jails management, prisoners' situations and coordination between law enforcement authorities including security services, prosecution and courts.
