Minister of Fisheries Fahd Kafayensaid that there aresome Iranian vessels harassing Yemeni fishermen and threatening them in Yemen’s territorial waters, including the waters of the Red Sea.

In a ceremony to provide 100 fishing boats to fishermen in theeastern province of Shabwah, Kafayencalled on the international community to "shoulder their responsibilities in stopping Iran's aggressive trespasses and interferences in the Yemeni affairs through supporting the Houthi militia."

He also said the Iran-backed Houthis are exercising abuses against fishermen in their areas of control, abducting and disappearing them forcibly.
