Leadership Council Avows To Take All Measures To Prevent Violations of Yemeni sovereignty

The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Foreign Minister Khaled Al-Yemeni met Sunday with Director of the UN Office for Humanitarian Affairs Coordination in Yemen Sebastian Treves .

Discussions intended to explore appropriate mechanisms that can facilitate action of the UN agencies and other organizations operate in Yemen and enable aid workers to easily and effectively deliver humanitarian and relief aids to the people in need.

Al-Yemany stated that the government has been very keen to fully collaborate with the UN and other organizations to help them doing their job successfully and alleviate the peoples' suffering.
