Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh met on Wednesday with the Governor of Shabwa province Maj. Gen. Ali Rashid Al-Harthy and other local authority leaders including members of the local security committee to follow up on the latest developments in the province.

The Vice President pointed to the heroic performances of the armywith backing from the brotherly Arab Coalition countries towardrestoring the Yemeni state and protecting Yemen from the Iranian vandalistic agenda.

The Vice President affirmed the determination of the government under the leadership of His Excellency President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadito complete the liberation and move towards building a federal Yemen of six federal regions.

He pointed out that the Yemeni people are all opposed to the coup and terrorism, and that all efforts must be united to fight them.

He renewed the government's interest in achieving a lasting peace based on the relevant terms of reference to put an end to the Houthicoup and build the federal Yemen.

The Vice President urged the leaders of Shabwato work hard, faithfully and diligently to serve the citizens and to assume theirresponsibilities in implementing the development and reconstruction plans and to establish security and stability.

The governor of Shabwa appreciated the interest of the political leadership in the province and affirmed their commitment to continue their efforts in serving the citizens.
