Yemen participates in regional meeting on combating crime, terror

Yemen participated on Wednesday in the activities of the third meeting of the steering committee of the Regional Program of the Arab States to Prevent and Combatting Crime and Terrorism, Health Threats and Strengthening Criminal Justice Rules with a delegation from ministries of justice and interior.
The Advisor in Yemen's Permanent Mission to Arab Countries Ahmad Ajroum clarified that the meeting organized in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Arab League and the UN will discuss initial results accomplished by the regional office in the framework of the regional program 2018 and relations between terrorism and organized crime.
The meeting will also tackle means of combating organized crime and terrorism, as well as preventing corruption and financial crimes and criminal justice, he added.
The meeting reviewed protection against drugs addition, medication and care associated with addiction disturbances and combating organized crime and terrorism.
