The State Minister for National Dialogue Conference's (NDC) Outcomes Affairs Yaser al-Ruaini acquainted the Lebanese Ambassador to Yemen HadiJaber on Monday with the experiment of the national dialogue in Yemen and situations after Houthi coup against the political process and the NDC's outcomes.
Al-Ruaini pointed to solutions included in the NDC within a federal state based on power and wealth sharing, indicating steps followed singing the outcomes of the NDC and drafting the constitution of Yemen crystalized from these outcomes and the government's efforts in transferring these outcomes into programs and executive mechanisms for forming the federal stat.
He also talked about obstacles made by Houthi militia to block the political track and peace process and their intractability to respond to local and international willing, disarm and withdrawal from institutions,a matter which complicated the humanitarian and economic crises.
For his part, the Lebanese diplomat confirmed his country's support to Yemen and the legal government, as well as support to the political solution based on the three references; the GCC Initiative, the NDC's outcomes and Resolution 2216.
