[22/10/2018 02:22]

MAREB-SABA
The Chairman of Staff General Brigadier Taher al-Uqaili has called the International Community and the humanitarian and right organizations to shoulder responsibility for exerting pressure on Houthi militia leaders to stop violations against children.

He called also for banning the militia recruiting children as soldiers and sending them to military warfronts.

In his meeting with Female Peace Team of Mareb Girls Foundation headed by Hamda al-Walas on Monday, he added that Houthi militia recruits children and sometimes kidnaping them and forcing them to fight for them for defending their racist agenda for destroying Yemen social fabric.

He pointed out that the national army finds many children among the killed soldiers of Houthi militia and arrests other children and sends them to rehabilitation centers to be integrated in the society.

He confirmed that the national army is committed to international laws and treaties on respecting child right and bans recruiting children.
