Houthis blow up mosque in Dhamar

Iran-backed sectarian Houthi militia has recently demolished a mosque in Dhamar province by detonating explosive devices .

The Ministry of Endowments and Guidance has condemned Houthi militia's terrorist actions against mosques.

In statement the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) obtained, the Ministry stated that Houthi militia detonated a mosque in the village of Haqar Bani Falah of Jahran district, to the north of Dhamar city.

The militia decided to blow up the mosque because the locals expressed opposition to an orator appointed forcefully by the militia to preach its doctrine.

Once the worshipers refused to listen the orator's preach, the militiamen planted explosive devices in the walls of the mosque, turning the building into debris.

The Ministry described the incident a terrorist act aimed to bullying the population and imposing sectarian culture.

The Ministry blamed the shameful silence upon the militia's violations by Interested international organizations .
