2019 Humanitarian Response Plan under consideration

Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in partnership with the UN Organization for Coordination Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) launched Sunday first phase of working out 2019 Humanitarian Response Plan.

Two-day high-profile workshop held in Aden aimed at outlining the key pillars of next year humanitarian response plan. 150 participants represent the interested official authorities, national and international organizations are attending the discussions.

The workshop is intended to develop an effective overall plan in view of 2018 Humanitarian Response Plan.

Lessons will be learned Discussions are with aim of improving the next year's plan.

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr Nizar Basoheib stated that the 2019 plan ought to be more inclusive to cover all Yemeni regions, better coordination between the government and international organizations is imperative.
