Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh met Monday with Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Eng. Lotfi Ba-Shareaf.

Discussions focused on mechanisms of merging telecommunication network as it is considered to be one of the legitimate authority's most important missions.

Eng. Ba-Sharead briefed the Vice President on the Ministry's underway efforts to get rid of the putschist militia's monopoly and control over the Internet and Telecom services. He stated that the Ministry has been working on improving the telecom services, devoting the Telecom corporate capacities to serve public interests and national economy.

(Lt Gen) Mohssen stressed the importance of intensifying efforts to develop Internet Services in order to keep abreast with fast- technological developments that people are eagerly looking for.
