Activities of Dutch MSF in liberated provinces discussed

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. NaserBawm discussed on Tuesday with Head of Dutch Doctors without Borders (MSF) Robert Onus activities of the organization in liberated provinces.

The meeting dealt with problems facing the organization's activities in Dhale' province resulting on suspension of the activities of the mission in the province.

Health Minister praised the role of the organization as basic partner in health sector, pointing out that any problem or irresponsible practices by some individuals should not be a reason for the suspension of the services of the organization.

For his part, Onus confirmed that he would work with the mission's management on resumption the organization's activities in the province of Dhale' as soon as possible.

He demanded taking necessary and active measures for protecting the office and lodging section of the cadre of the organization for ensuring providing health services as demanded.
