Ba-Sohayb emphasizes coordination with govt in preparing humanitarian response

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Dr. Nizar Ba-Sohayb stressed the need of UN coordination with the competent Yemeni ministries once the forthcoming humanitarian response plan (of 2019) for the country is being prepared.
In a meeting he held with representatives from the UN, the OCHA and other international organizations, in Aden on Monday, he reiterated the importance of basing the response plan on the relevant surveys of needed projects.
He urged the UN organizations to limit their coordination in identifying the areas of urgent interventions with the ministries of the international recognized government and to never interface with any outlawed authorities.
