The Deputy Governor of Marib, DrAbd-RabbuMiftah received a mission from the Ministry of Education and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) of Saudi Arabia in Marib on Sunday.
The meeting, attended by local education officials,discussed proposals for Saudi support to the educational sector in the province, including support that has to do with classroom buildings,teachers, curriculaand school laboratories.
On behalf of the provincial authorities represented by governor Sultan al-Eradah, Miftahthanked the Saudi leadership represented by King Salman bin Abdulaziz andCrown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their generous support to the province of Marib in various fields.
The Saudi mission toured a number of secondary schools in the outskirts of the provincial capital to gain a first-hand knowledge about the situation of schools and where support is needed.
