[18/09/2018 01:16]

RIYADH-SABA
The spokesman for the Arab Coalition Col. Turki al-Maliki said the military operations in Hodeidah and in all Yemeni provinces are proceeding according to the international humanitarian law.

Al-Maliki made the remarks in a press conference in Riyadh on Monday in response to a statement by the United Nations Resident Representative and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Lisa Grande expressing her concerns about the military operation launched by the Yemeni army with Coalition backing to retake Hodeidah port province.

"It would have been better to have these concerns about the Yemeni people and the violations they have been suffering (at the hands of Houthi putchists) since 2014, the fall of the capital Sana'a and the impact of the coup on the 27 million Yemeni people," Colonel al-Maliki said in comment on Grande's statement.
