Yemen's ambassador in Rome, Asmahan Al-Towki, met with the dean of the diplomatic corps and the Vatican's ambassador in Italy.
They recounted the Yemen developments and the efforts of the Yemeni government to end the Houthi coup to pave the way for resolving the humanitarian crisis.
She stressed the Yemeni government's commitment to peaceful solution despite the Houthi militia's maximalism, recently demonstrated by the militia's no-show in the peace consultations that were supposed to be held in Geneva on September 6.
