Presidential Decisions Bring Historic Gains for Yemeni Women
The recent republican decisions issued yesterday, Thursday, marked a new turning point in promoting the participation of Yemeni women in decision-making positions. The decisions included the appointment of Dr. Afrah Abdulaziz Al-Zouba as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, making her the first woman in the country's history to hold this sovereign portfolio. Moreover, Dr. Ahd Mohammed Salem Jaasous was appointed Minister of Local Administration, becoming the first woman to take on this ministry since the establishment of the republic.

Equipment for updating Aden Refineries arrived Aden

A ship, carrying on board equipment for the projects of improving and updating Aden Refineries, arrived on Monday Aden Oil Port.

The equipment included additional equipment for the project of updating and improving the refineries' power plant for supplying Buraiqa City and its suburbs with power, said the Executive Director of Aden Refineries Company.

He added that the ship carried additional equipment for installing a new bridge to be set up by the refineries near the power plant to replace the old one and a Crane- the first of its type in Aden- with output of lifting 400 tons to be used in implementing the projects of updating the refineries and a new gas factory used by the refineries.

He unearthed other projects the refineries will carried out in the future like updating Oil Port, prequalifying Aden Management for supplying ships, supplying it with modern equipment and updating heavy equipment of the refineries.
