VP. stresses re-building the Marine Force, Coastal Defense

Vice President General Ali Mohsen Saleh has stressed high alert and continuous boost of fighting readiness in different military forces units for facing Houthi rebel militia.

In his meeting with Commander of the Marine Forces and Coastal Defense Marshal General Abdullah al-Na'khi' and commander of Coast Guard Forces General Khaled al-Qommalli on Sunday, he also stressed reconstructing and equipping of Marine Forces and Coastal Defense and rehabilitating their cadre and affiliates for achieving accomplishments.

The meeting also reviewed Yemeni Marine Force's efforts of fighting smuggling and piracy in coordination with Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, the two commanders talked about future plans of the marine forces and coastal defense, thanking the Vice President for his care of different military sectors.
