Yemen's non-resident ambassador to Croatia HaythamShujaeddin met with theassistant minister for political affairs at the Croatian foreign ministry Vice Skracicin Zgreb on Monday.
Shujaeddin briefed Skracic on the situations in Yemen and the Yemeni governments commitment to reaching peace with the Houthi rebel militia in line with the three terms of reference for peace; the GCC Agreement, the outcomes of the National Dialogue and the UNSC resolutions on Yemen especially resolution no. 2216 (2015).
He renewed the government's interest in securing the city and port of Hodeidah to allow the flow of humanitarian goods and end the suffering of the local population under the militia.
